Joan Little (19**- ). Speech teacher and director.

She directed a University of Natal, Department of Speech and Drama production of As You Like It in the late 1950s. She eventually moved to Australia.

• She ran an Elocution Studio in Durban and later became second in command to Professor Elizabeth Sneddon at University of Natal Durban campus. • She appeared in a University of Natal, Department of Speech and Drama production of As You Like It as Phebe, Acted in A Winter Vacation (1969), Private Lives (1969), Richard Gush of Salem (1970), • • Assistant director Focus (1971) • Directed a Rhodes University Drama Department production of The Owl and the Pussycat (1976).
