Joan Little (19**- 2***). Speech teacher and director.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She ran an Elocution Studio in Durban and later became second in command to Professor Elizabeth Sneddon at University of Natal Durban campus.

She directed a University of Natal, Department of Speech and Drama production of As You Like It in the late 1950s.

She eventually moved to Australia where she was still teaching new immigrants to speak English when she was visited by Helen Barnes in 1995.
