Biography

Jennie was born in 1959 and she is married to Mark Fleishman.


Training

She is a founding member, with her husband Mark Fleishman, of the Magnet Theatre Company in 1987 and is responsible for most of the creative and teaching programs of the company. Besides performing in Magnet shows, she also acts as movement director and choreographer for the work.

She has also appeared in Forbidden Fruits, Strider, Marat/Sade, On the Razzle, Thing?, 53 Degrees, Odds and Ends, Kashku Saves the Circus, Total Eclipse, Every Year, Every Day, I Am Walking, Up 'n Atom, Far Cry, I Do x 22.

Choreographed movement and played "Puck" in Esther van Ryswyk and Fred Abrahamse's groundbreaking A Midsummer Night's Dream (1988) . Movement director Voices Made Night, Moby Dick, Choreography Aladdin.

Co-directed Medea, The Last Trek, The City of Paradise.
