Jemma Kahn (19**-) [1]. Theatre and film maker.

Training

She read Fine Art and Drama at the University of the Witwatersand and then spent two years as a teacher of English in Japan. It was in this context that she learned kamishibai -- an illustrated story-telling theatre medium, which draws on ancient Japanese traditions.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She had a role in After Cardenio (2011).

As artist/performer she has co-created and performed The Epicene Butcher and Other Stories for Consenting Adults (with by Gwydion Beynon, 2012), The Last Show (with by Gwydion Beynon, 2013), , written by Gwydion Beynon and directed by Jemma Kahn at the Wits Theatre Complex (2013).
