Was editor of Bookchat magazine. Was appointed Liaison Officer for South Africa with IBBY, the world body on children's literature.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Played Gonzalo in The Tempest. Appeared as Richard Noakes in the Vita Award-winning revival of Arcadia.
