Jan Ellis (1973- ) [1] is a South African-born actor, director, writer and teacher. In 2008 he moved to Australia.

After completing his training Ellis worked in South Africa as a teacher and as an actor on stage, film and television. He directed some stage productions and wrote some scripts and texts. In 2008, at the age of 35, he moved to Sydney in Australia.
