James is the son of Stuart Leith and Margaret Inglis.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He starred in Taubie Kushlick’s production of Forty Carats at the Alexander in 1971. It also starred Gordon Mulholland, Fiona Fraser and Glynis Johns.
