James Alexander (19**-). Actor.

Biography

He is the son of Scottish parents. Married to Anel Alexander.

Training

Didn’t study drama formally although he was involved on some level with amateur productions from a young age.

Career

Professional actor since 2001.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

On stage he has appeared in Damsels in Distress – RolePlay and in Discreet written by Joshua Rous with his wife Anel Alexander at the Grahamstown and other festivals. In 2006 he was seen in Hedda Gabler and in 2007 in The Unexpected Guest (Beeld 23 January 2007). In Doubt he appeared as Father Flynn in 2015.

Acted on television in Binnelanders, Houtkruis and other productions.
