There have been a number of people named Ivor Jones involved in the performing arts in South Africa among them an actor, a director and a theatre manager.

An Ivor Jones had a role in A Woman of No Importance in the Little Theatre, Cape Town, in December 1946.

There is reference to Ivor Jones of Sun City on The Star of 13 December 2005, named as a member of the panel of judges for the National Choreographic Competition and in The Star of 16 May 2013 there is reference to "Ivor Jones, Sun City organiser". LinkedIn has him as "theatre manager at Sun International".

A review of Puss in Boots, directed by Ivor Jones for the National Children’s Theatre, Parktown, Johannesburg was written by Bruce Dennill (19/03/2022). This may (or may not) be the same person as the Sun City manager.
