It Runs in the Family is a 1987 farce by English playwright Ray Cooney (1932- ) [1].

Translations and adaptations

Adapted and translated into Afrikaans for PACOFS by Wim Vorster, under the title Hospitaal op Horings ("Hospital in Chaos").

Performance history in South Africa

1992: Wim Vorster's Afrikaans translation Hospitaal op Horings was staged by PACOFS in the Bloemfontein Civic Centre

1993 & 1994: Performed at the Alhambra Theatre, The Playhouse Theatre, and The Theatre on the Bay starring Rex Garner (who directed) and Gordon Mulholland.
