Performance history in South Africa

1907: Performed by the Woods-Williamson Company in the Opera House, Cape Town, under the auspices of the Wheeler Brothers, as part of a season that also included The Garden of Lies (Grundy), The King's Mistress (Anon.) and The Gates of Bondage (Anon.). The season was not well received by the Cape Town public.
