He mentions at least two performances of ''[[ In Love with a Waltz]]'', one  in the [[Commercial Exchange]], Cape Town, the other in the Oddfellows' Hall]], during the second Cape Town season which extended from June to August. Other theatrical works in the repertoire included ''[[The Painter and His Model]]'' () and ''[[The Fancy Ball]]'' (Anon.).

In Love with a Waltz is a comic opera by B. Moriot (fl.late 1860s?)

Nothing is currently know of either the work or of the author, except the form ("comic opera") and the fact that is seems to have been written and composed in the 1860s. Copies of the librettos for the songs were on sale at the South African performances.
