Iago's Last Dance is a trilogy of playlets individually entitled Heartbreak Medea, Iago's Last Dance and Valiant Spartacus by Mike van Graan. The theme is betrayal and vengeance set against the backdrop of the "three-letter plague" - HIV/AIDS. Three actors play a different character in each play, moving from betrayal within a marriage to betrayal of friendship and, finally, betrayal by the larger society. All the playlets reference classical texts but their power lies in their contemporary relevance.
