I Have Been Here Before is a play by J.B. Priestley.

The original text

The play was first produced by Lewis Casson at the Royalty Theatre, London, on 22 September 1937. At a rural inn on a Yorkshire moor, three people enter a strange confrontation with the hallmarks of déjà vu, and a physicist attempts to prevent a disaster.

Performance history in South Africa

1944: Presented by the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society in the Little Theatre, produced by R. H. Morrison, featuring Bill Hirst, Virginia Beyloos, Rex Ainslie, Joan Griffiths, Frank Quinn, Alfred Faclier. Set designed by Cecil Pym.
