After clsoing down his popular variety venue, the [[Plastic Theatre]] in Northcliff, he opened a new theatre inside Joubert Park circa 1957. His ''[[Variety Under the Stars]]'' series at the [[Plastic Theatre]] showcased light local entertainment with [[Bill Brewer]] acting as compere. He presented Britain’s biggest entertainment agency, the Grade Organisation. He booked British artists such as vocalist [[Alma Cogan]] and [[Dickie Valentine]] for variety shows presented by [[Pieter Toerien]] and [[Basil Rubin]] circa 1963. After closing down his popular variety venue, the Plastic Theatre in Northcliff, he opened a new theatre inside Joubert Park circa 1957. His Variety Under the Stars series at the Plastic Theatre showcased light local entertainment with Bill Brewer acting as compere. He presented Britain’s biggest entertainment agency, the Grade Organisation.
