He was musical director for such shows as Tom Foolery (1981), Robinson Crusoe (PACT), Jacques Brel, From Berlin to Broadway, Presto, Old Tyme Music Hall, Christian and the latter part of Oh What a Lovely War. He has written the music for several film and television productions including Wide Land, Better the Devil you Know and most recently, Attie and Joos.

He composed the music for Babette: a Love Story (1999); Africa Dreaming.
