In 1849, the name was changed to Tot Oefening en Vermaak, which virtually coincided with the birth of yet another company, Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst, which was probably a dissident faction from within Hoop en Trouw. They performed in the Hoopstraat-Skouburg.
