Hond se Gedagte, the Afrikaans translation by Nerina Ferreira of the Georges Feydeau (1862-1921) farce was produced at the Nico Malan Theatre to alternate with Koning Lear for the opening of the theatre in 1970. Directed by Dieter Reible, stage manager Mavis Lilenstein. (Source: Grütter, Wilhelm, CAPAB 25 Years, 1987. Unpublished research. P 75).

Performed by CAPAB in 1989 with Cobus Rossouw, Jannie Gildenhuys, Antoinette Kellermann, Marthinus Basson, Neels Coetzee and Mark Hoeben.
