Hollander en Hugenoot ("Dutchman and Huguenot") is a musical performance piece by Adèle Jooste (1914-2012).

The original text

Published by the FAK in 1949 (the author seemingly listed both as Adele Gie (Mrs J.G. Jooste) in some sources and Adèle Jooste in others).

Performance history in South Africa

Information on a performance of the original play has yet to be found, but a production billed as "Episodes uit Deur stryd tot oorwinning van Adèle Jooste" was performed by Volksteater, Pretoria as part of the celebrations around the inauguration of the Voortrekker Monument in 1949. This may in fact have been a production title, given to a performance of selected scenes from Hollander en Hugenoot.
