Het Schandmerk, of De Twee Galeiboeven is a Dutch translation of Les Deux Forçats, ou La Meunière du Puy de Dôme, a French melodrama in 3 acts by Eugène Cantiran de Boirie (1785-1837), Pierre-Frédéric-Adolphe Carmouche (1797-1868) and Alphonse André Vérand (known as Poujol), with . Music composed by Alexandre Piccinni (1779-1850)

Performance history in South Africa

1826: Performed by Door Yver Vruchtbaar on 22 August in the African Theatre, with Getrouw tot in den Dood (Westerman) as afterpiece.

1834: Performed on 12 April 1834 by Vlyt en Kunst, followed by the musical comedy Het Dorp aan de Grenzen, of De Hollanders en de Brabanders (J. van Lennep)
