(194?*- ) Actor, director, film maker and television producer*** Son of theatre academic and critic Ludwig Binge, he studied drama at the Stellenbosch University. ** Became the executive director of Waterfront Television Pty (Ltd), trading as Fremantle Productions (South Africa); which produces dramas, sitcoms, game shows, documentaries and reality television for local broadcasters, and as part of the international FremantleMedia group, represents various FremantleMedia formats in South Africa and Africa. In 199* he made a major series on Afrikaans theatre, entitled **, for television. In this he interviewed numerous contemporary artists, academics, critics and so on. Married to actress Joanie Combrink.
