Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He grew up in Graaff-Reinet, where he became one of Pieter Pohl's actors and in many ways acting as Pohl's adjudant in the Graaff-Reinetse Dramatische Vereniging.
In 1909 Momberg and Pohl joined the English-language Graaff-Reinet Amateur Dramatic and Musical Society till its split along language lines in 1915. In 1916, Momberg joined Pohl again to found the Graaff-Reinetse Letterkundige en Toneel Vereniging, directing and acting for it till its demise in 1926, though in 1927 he still produced Lugkastele under its name.
