His first stage play, Moerkind, premièred at the KKNK in 2001. He co-wrote, with Gerhard Meyer, the four-part Afrikaans television thriller mini-series Lied van die Lappop ("Song of the Rag Doll"), produced and directed in 2001 by Dirk de Villiers for SABC2.
