She obtained a diploma in Drama and Singing from the Performing Arts Workshop in Johannesburg. She graduated from UCT Drama School in 1991.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student Heather appeared in Fiddler on the Roof, The Entertainer, the Baxter Theatre production of Guys and Dolls, The Crucible. Her debut on the professional stage was as Shelley in Mrs Kaplan and the Witchdoctor, 1992.
