Hayi S'bali, written by Steve Mnisi. A play about how households in the townships have to deal with alcoholism, drug abuse and abuse of women. According to the director's notes he uses theatre to communicate with God, his community and the wider world.

Performance history in South Africa

The author was selected to direct his play during the Barney Simon Young Directors and Playwrights Festival, 1998.
