Harry Ligoff, born in Bethlehem, Free State. Lighting engineer since 1932. Worked in this capacity for the NTO. He was responsible for lighting during the inauguration of the Voortrekker Monument in 1949.

He did the lighting for theatre productions such as I Remember Mama, Die Ryk Weduwee, Minna von Barnhelm, Oedipus Rex, She Stoops to Conquer, Pop Goes the Queen.
