Performance history in South Africa
A run was staged at the Wits Theatre from 16 October to 20 October 1984. Produced by the Performing Arts Administration and the University of Witwatersrand's School of Dramatic Art. Directed by Fred Hagemann and Gina Benjamin. Designed by Sarah Roberts. Musical direction by Rashid Lanie. Lighting designed by Gerry Coughlan. Choreographed by: Lynsey Shmukler and Andrea Borman. Sound created by Caro Heale. The Company: Andrea Borman, Stafford Cammay, Carrie Glyn, Melanie Keartland, Tracy Kirchoffer, Kate Normington, Ade'le Pienaar, Cathy-Jo Ross, Daniella Roman, Robyn Rostovsky, Lynsey Shmukler, Steven Breger, Andrew Donald, Adrian Galley, Allan Glass, Roy Hunter, Matt Matthyser, Graeme Messer, Warren Nebe and Simon Heale as Max Miller. Understudies: Colleen-Rae Holmes, Dan Robbertse. Stage managers were Mary Gill and Nicki Ridgeway.
