Happy as Larry is a 1946 play by Irish writer, judge, presenter, broadcaster, and playwright Donagh MacDonagh (1912-1968) [1]. The play has been translated into a number of languages.
1948: Presented in the Little Theatre by the University of Cape Town's University Dramatic Society, directed by René Ahrenson with a cast of students.
1962: Robin Malan directed production by the Eoan Group, staged at the Little Theatre in August.
