(1950-) Actor. Born and raised in Franschoek, and did a variety of jobs before he went to University of Stellenbosch Drama Department at the age of 28. His first professional production was in 84 Charing Cross Road at the Baxter Theatre in 19**. He then became involved in children's theatre and started a one-man company called The Merry Scholar in the late 1980s, with which he takes dramatized stories and educational projects to schools.
