Halfmanspunt (lit. "half-man's point") is an Afrikaans TV drama by Johann Potgieter

The drama or series

Originally titled Bobbejaanspunt ("Baboon's point"), it was a single drama written for SABC TV-1 in 1985.

A copy of the SABC script (dated March 1985) is held in the archive of the Drama Department, University of Stellenbosch.

Broadcast history in South Africa

Produced and broadcast by SABC TV-1 in 1986, directed by Stephan Bouwer with Goliath Davids, Simon Bruinders, Shaun Feldman, Anthony Wilson, Johan Botha, Johan van der Merwe, Shaleen Surtie-Richards (as Shaleen Surtie), Vanessa Reynolds, Kristo Pienaar, Pierre Louw, Johan Niemandt and Bertram Adams.

Music by Louis van Rensburg, cinematography by Gordon Hines, film editing by Gretchen Holzapfel, production design by Daniël le Roux and costume design by Leonie Roberts.
