Performance history in South Africa

Sue Kiel, Leonie Hofmeyr, Eckard Rabe, Bruce Millar and Danny Keogh at His Majesty's Theatre in 1977. It ran until June the following year.

Presented at the Nico Theatre 2 December 1998-9 January 1999, directed by David Matheson, musical direction by Stefan Lombard, choreography by Sharon Friedman, lighting design by Malcolm Hurrell, sound design by Robin Shuttleworth, with Warren Kimmel as Danny Zuko.

Staged by the Port Elizabeth Gilbert & Sullivan Society in 1993.
