Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Extensive work with CAPAB, PACT and NAPAC. Performed in Boesman and Lena The Years of the Locust (CAPAB 1966) Under Milk Wood, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet (with CAPAB), Puss in Boots, As You Like It (with NAPAC), The Collector (with CAPAB, played the lead), Though the Looking Glass (with NAPAC), Jane Eyre (as “Rochester”), The Eagle Has Two Heads (as “Stanislas”), Waiting for Godot (at The Centre, as “Estragon”), Hamlet (at Maynardville, as “Laertes”), The Homecoming The Merchant of Venice (as “Lorenzo” with CAPAB), Beecham at the Baxter Theatre, A New Birth at the Nico Malan Theatre.

Also the director of The Imps Drama Workshop. He directed In the Shadow of the Mountain during the Cape Town Festival in April 1983.

Television work includes People are Living There, Harry's Kid, Die Perdesmous, The Green and Gold Hero.

Awards, etc

Received a Three-leaf Award for his performance as Outa in Boesman and Lena; Three Leaf Award Nomination for his role as Teddy in The Homecoming.
