Gloria Bosman (19-2023) was a South African singer, musical performer and jazz singer.
Born in Mofolo in 19, but was raised in Pimville, Soweto, she was influenced by her father's jazz music and began her musical career by singing in a church choir.
She passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, 14 March, at the age of 50.
Contribution to South Arican theatre, film, media and performance
Her first professional engagement came with an appearance in Christo Leach's musical production SA Love, at the Market Theatre, in June 1993, when she filled in for one of the regular singers.
