Give Me Besides My Daily Bread is a play by Phillip de Bruyn. Original music composed by Tom Saffery. The play is set in a refugee camp on the borders of South Africa. The inhabitants view personal viewpoints, revealing reasons for being what they are and where they are.

Published by Blake, 1967.

Directed for the Lyric Theatre by Gerald Wilson, opening on 22 April 1968. Cast: Peter Prowse, Belda Mariani, Lyn Hooker, Glynn Day, Tom Saffery, Percy Sieff, Peter Hauptfleisch, Frederik Kullin.
