Gigi by Colette. A novel, written in 1945, adapted to the stage by Anita Loos in 1951, starred a young Audrey Hepburn. First produced in South Africa when the Johannesburg Reps celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary in 1953, starring Tessa Laubscher. In 1967 Taubie Kushlick staged it again at the Zion Hall in Johannesburg.

Presented by CAPAB, opening 14 December 1966, at the Hofmeyr Theatre, directed by visiting American director Stanley Waren [1].
