Giants is a play by Sabata Sesiu. Winner of the Noupoort Guest Farm's Rewards for Playwrights Initiative, 2000. The play draws from Antigone by Sophocles and from a Cameroonian folk tale and it examines the power-relationships when a new chief takes control of a village.

Performance history in South Africa

1996: Directed by Walter Chakela in June 1996 for New Stages (Civic Theatre's development project since 1995 - four new scripts selected for a staged reading) .

2001: Presented by Artscape opening 10 July 2001 directed by Warrick Grier, choreography by Christopher Kindo, lighting by Malcolm Hurrell, costumes by John Caviggia with Tshamano Sebe, Juniper Lee, Lynita Crofford, narrator Andrea Dondolo.
