He was a publicist for [[Ronnie Quibell]], [[Hymie Udwin]], [[Yango John]] and [[Toby Kushlick]], I was also the publicist for all [[Marge Chase]]'s ice shows that traveled south on Africa in conjunction with [[Ster Films]]. So I was the person who always did better than Hazel Feldman with the pub the city in the magazines newspapers radio and eventually television. I was valved with K In Cape Town with both ballet and the opera companies as a props manager.
 
 
 
My mother [[Sybil Summers]] was British Dancing champion three times and one lots of awards. She arrived in this country with [[Bill Brewer]]'s [[Seeing Stars]] in 1948, becoming well known for pantomimes in Cape Town and did several plays  with Leonard Schach at the Luxarama theater in for to go in Cape Town off the ground with the first show being Cinderella and
 
 
She later became the sourcing agent for [[The Quibell's]] and the international shows.
 
 
After bringing [[Norman Wisdom]] to South Africa she became his agent and manager and from that managed to get [[Cilla Black]] and from there [[Harry Secombe]] [[Spike Milligan]] and [[Peter Sellers]] as their managers. My mother worked a lot with [[Toby Kushnick]] and was the lead in ''[[No No Nanette]]''. She also made the gold fester in curtain for the three arts for which we have been playing an active part in, she also owned on a lease the Labia theater after Mr Michael's died.

Geoff Burmeister is a businessman, publicist, one time props manager.

Biography

Son of Sybil Summers, he was born in **.

Among his qualifications are Honours Marketing at Wits Business School (1987 – 1989), and a certificate of Psychology in Business from the Metropolitan Collge London.

As a businessmen he has held numerous positions, including Marketing Manager at Chet Chemicals & Retailer Brands, CEO at Going Places Travel & Accomodation, and owner of Luis Foods at Good Value Foods.

Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance

This involved acting as the Publicist for all Ronnie Quibell's shows with overseas artists, for all Ster Films , for Hymie Udwin's Academy Theatre, as well as working for CAPAB and various overseas ballet companies as a props manager.
