Performed in The Flip Side, Black Comedy, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (for Kushlick), Give our Regards to Broadway (with NAPAC), Applause (as “Eve”), Absurd Person Singular (as “Marion”), Oliver (as “Nancy” with PACT in 1979), Happy Birthday (for Toerien-Firth Company in 1980), Oh What a Lovely War (with PACT in 1980), Lennon (for Des Lindberg). (SACD 1973) (SACD 1977/78) (SACD 1978/79) (SACD 1979/80) (SACD 1980/81) (SACD 1981/82) Out of the Question in 19**, played the role of Eve in Applause in 19**.

LAMBERT, Gay. (19*-) Actress. ** She starred in JODS’s production of Applause, together with Janis Paige, at the Civic Theatre in 1971. Anthony Farmer designed the set, Otto Pirchner directed, and choreography was taken over from Geoffrey Sutherland by Wendy de la Harpe. She starred in an adaptation of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, directed by Taubie Kushlick between 1975 and 1983. Starred in The Company’s production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Absurd Person Singular, designed by Anthony Farmer and co-directed by John Hussey and Mannie Manim. It also starred Graham Armitage, Naomi Buch, Wilson Dunster, Kerry Jordan and Diane Appleby and was staged at the Market Theatre in November 1977. Starred in Geoffrey Sutherland’s production of Joan Littlewood’s Oh! What a Lovely War together with Michael Richard, Judy Page, Michael McCabe, James White and Erica Rogers for PACT in 1980. She starred in Des and Dawn Lindberg’s production of Lennon together with Bruce Millar, Colin Shapiro and Colin Shamley. Dawn directed this tribute at the Arena Bistro in 1981. ***(Tucker, 1997)
