Captain G. C. Bartholomew, was a British officer serving in the North Lincolnshire Regiment of Foot and served in Grahamstown and Keiskama Hoek between 1860 and 1862 during the Frontier War.


Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was one of the Officers of the Regiment who produced shows for the entertainment of the troops and nearby civilians.

October 8, 1860: The Rivals (Captain Absolute) at Garrison Theatre in Grahamstown.
