A comedy, in five acts by Frederick Reynolds.

The original text

First performed at Covent Garden in October 1801, with an Epilogue by Mr. Serjeant Sellon.

First printed in London by A. Strahan for T.N. Longman and O. Rees, 1802.

1823: Performed in the African Theatre, Cape Town by the Garrison Players on 27 September, with The Day After The Wedding (Kemble) as afterpiece.
