Female Transport is a play by British playwright Steve Gooch (1945-) [1]. Full Length, 4 Male, 6 Female. It is an account of the political education of six women convicted of petty crimes in 19th century London and sentence to be transported to a life of hard labour in Britain's overseas penal colony.

1975: Produced in South Africa at The Space (Cape Town) in 1975, directed by Mavis Taylor with Rob Amato, Paddy Canavan, Jacqui Delhaye, Shirley Johnston, Malcolm Munro, Louise Robertson, Len Sparrow-Hawk, Fiona Stuart-White, Petronella Whitfield and John Worsley. Design by Bee Berman, lighting by Brian Astbury and stage manegement by Richard Morrison.
