Family Portrait is a play in three acts by American playwright Lenore Coffee (18966-1984)[1] and William Joyce Cowen.


The original text

Published by Random House, 1939 and in Plays of the Year. v.1, 1948-49, chosen by J. C. Trewin. The play was performed at The Strand Theatre in London in February 1948, with Fay Compton in the lead role as Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ.
