Extremities is a play by William Mastrosimone that was first performed off Broadway in 1982. It opened at the Westside Theatre in New York on December 22, 1982. A young woman, Marjorie, is attacked in her home by a would-be rapist, Raul, and manages to tie him up in her fireplace. Her roommates come home and express different points of view about rape in society. The three friends are also turned on each other at various points in the play. Published by Samuel French.

A Pieter Toerien Production was presented at the Alhambra Theatre (opening 23 August 1984) and the Baxter Theatre in 1984, directed by Hugh Wooldridge. Cast: Lena Ferugia, Michael Richard, Louise Saint Claire, Jane Sinclair. Designed by Gloria Lovegrove, lighting by Jannie Swanepoel.
