Extremities is a play by American playwright and screenwriter William Mastrosimone [1] (born 1947) that was first performed off Broadway in 1982. It opened at the Westside Theatre in New York on December 22, 1982. A young woman, Marjorie, is attacked in her home by a would-be rapist, Raul, and manages to tie him up in her fireplace. Her roommates come home and express different points of view about rape in society. The three friends are also turned on each other at various points in the play.
