Exiles by James Joyce. Written after Portrait of an Artist and before Ulyssess, Exiles has been highly acclaimed for the sparseness and significance of its dialogue, and for the poignant manner in which it portrays an attempt to free friendship, love and passion from the confines of existing social convention. Performed on the Fringe at the national Arts Festival, 1984, it starred Lindsay Reardon, Reza de Wet, Denys Webb and [Di Dods]].
