The Evening Programme, Cape Town, was a daily news-sheet printed in Cape Town, giving snippets of news along with advertisements for the current attractions at the Theatre Royal. Begun in January 1879. Hand-written and –illustrated, apparently published by Luscombe Searelle from offices in the Theatre Royal. Disney Roebuck also involved in the publication of this news-sheet, at the time his company was performing in the Theatre Royal thus benefiting from the advertisements.
