MELLET, Esthéa (1949- ). Known as Esti Mellet-Mass. South African model and designer working in the fashion and beauty industry worldwide. Was married to Jochen Mass, race car driver from Germany. Later moved back to Cape Town. She owns the design firm Ensemble Interiors.
After studying for a degree in art at the University of Stellenbosch, Esti travelled through Europe, then lived and worked in Paris in the fashion & beauty industry for over a decade. She married in France and brought up two sons in Provence and Monte Carlo. Regular sailing in the Caribbean and travels from Africa to Asia, confirmed Esti’s multi-national design style. [1]
