Eskoriaal (Escurial, 1927) by Michel de Ghelderode (born as Adhémar-Adolphe-Louis Martens, 3 April 1898, Ixelles – 1962, Brussels), an avant-garde Belgian dramatist, writing in French.

Performed by students of the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in the H.B. Thom Theatre in November 1987, directed by Christa de Jager, starring Ben Dehaeck, Jako Voges, Raèl Mercuur and Nico Gey van Pittius.

Presented by Dinkteater, directed by Pieter Brand starring Danie Burger (Die Koning), Johan Visser (Folial), Ben Bekker (Die Monnik) and Albert Korff and Henk Kellerman aternating as Die Skarlaken Man. Date unknown.
