Entwined Lives is a play by Phillip Kakaza.

The original text

Set in Cape Town in the savagely repressive late 1980s, this play moves beyond the clichéd vision of a divided South Africa. The four characters are ordinary people who are pawns in a greater political landscape.

Performance history in South Africa
