Encounter

Encounter by Kuldip Sondhi. An inflammatory conscientizing play about the Kenyan Mau-Mau. Produced in South Africa by UNICUS as part of the TECON Theatre Festival in 1972. After the first performances in Durban, the play was banned and could not be performed in Cape Town at the second festival in December. Published in C. Pietersen Ten One-Act Plays (Heinemann, 1968)
